Stanislas de Barbeyrac is a French operatic tenor, born on 27 April 1984 in Annecy. He sang with the Petits Chanteurs de Bordeaux from the age of eight, then studied voice at the Bordeaux Conservatoire with Lionel Sarrazin before joining the Atelier Lyrique of the Paris Opera (2008-2010). He won first prize at the Concours de Chant de Béziers in 2008, was a laureate of the Queen Elisabeth Competition in 2011 and was named Opera Singer Revelation at the Victoires de la musique classique in 2014. Particularly admired in Mozart, he made his Royal Opera House debut as Arbace in Idomeneo in 2014, and sang Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni for his debuts at San Francisco Opera (2017) and the Metropolitan Opera (2019). His repertoire has since broadened to heavier roles such as Narraboth in Salome, Walther in Tannhäuser and Lyonnel in Chausson's Le roi Arthus. Source: Rondo DB
