Lucio Gallo (born July 9, 1959, in Taranto, Italy) is an Italian baritone opera singer. He studied under Elio Battaglia and graduated from the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Turin. He made his stage debut in 1984 and has become a regular guest at the world's leading opera houses including the Metropolitan Opera, San Francisco Opera, Wiener Staatsoper, Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Teatro alla Scala, and many others. His repertoire includes major baritone roles such as Alfio in Cavalleria rusticana, Scarpia in Tosca, the title role in Nabucco and Simon Boccanegra, Iago in Otello, Ford in Falstaff, Renato in Un ballo in maschera, Klingsor in Parsifal, the title role in Don Giovanni, and Gerard in Andrea Chenier.
