Tord Axel Ingvar Benner (1907-1976) was a Swedish composer and music arranger born in Västerås and died in Stockholm. He was particularly known for his work in film music, most notably contributing to the soundtrack of the 1951 film "Miss Julie" (Fröken Julie). Benner specialized in arranging traditional Swedish folk songs and composed music that reflected his deep connection to Swedish musical heritage. His arrangements included traditional pieces such as "Höga berg och djup dalar," "Näver polka," "Vapperstadt valsen," "Tyska polka," "Gubben och gumman," "Lundby valsen" (also known as "Norska valsen"), and "Där gingo tva fruar."
