Born in Tel Aviv, baritone BOAZ DANIEL completed his studies in 1996 at the Rubin Academy of Music in Tel Aviv and completed a second degree at the Vienna Conservatoire after moving to Vienna. Already during his studies, he had several engagements at the New Israeli Opera. Since 1998, he is connected to the Wiener Staatsoper and can be heard in a wide varying repertoire, among others as Ford, Kurwenal, Sharpless, Lescaut (Manon und Manon Lescaut), Conte d‘Almaviva, Belcore, Paolo, Marcello, Rangoni, Roucher, Dr. Falke, Donner, Posa, Valentin, Enrico, Jeletzki, Klingsor, Tusenbach (Tri Sestri), Gunther. Boaz Daniel makes regular guest appearances under prominent conductors at opera houses and concert halls all around the world - among others at the Salzburg Festspielen, the Milan Scala, the ROH Covent Garden, in the Barbican Hall in London, at the BBC-Proms, the Deutschen Oper Berlin, the Hamburg Staatsoper, the Wiener Volkoper, the San Francisco Opera, the Lyric Opera of Chicago, the Semperoper in Dresden, the Oper Frankfurt, at the Theater an der Wien, Liceu in Barcelona, in Tokyo and Cologne.
